Vacation spots in the US? - cruising spots miami

So my friend just Law School and studied for the bar, and it will take a mini-holiday (5 days) when you are finished with the test. As you can imagine money is tight, but still need and want to relax. I thought maybe we should go to Atlanta or Miami or anywhere in Florida. I love the beach and I've never been in Atlanta. I was in Miami for one day, when I went on a cruise if it does not really come to Miami, but the experience in the short time I was there I loved it! I should also mention that I live in Cali and lived in Pennsylvania.
